drCalls.me has an import facility that enables you to pre-populate your drCalls.me platform with the contact information and health numbers for your patients.
The import function is not to replace your existing Electronic Medical records (EMR), but to enable you to log call activity against patients for billing purposes and to ease the on-boarding of patients to the system.
To import your patient data, prepare your data in a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file. Many EMR's allow you to export your patient contact information. The CSV file is usually a file type that is read by a spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel.
Below is an example of what your data file should look like. You may need to move columns around to format the file appropriately. The first row of your data set can include field heading if you wish - these are not imported as part of the process and will be ignored by the import utility.
To start the import process, click on at the top right of the screen, and choose
.
When presented with the screen below, click and locate your data import file.
