You can send your patients a reminder of their scheduled appointment by clicking on the button, found in the Edit Appointment screen.
Patients will receive a reminder in one of two ways, depending on their preferences.
All patient appointment reminders will be sent by email as part of the reminder process. A formatted email with information on how to join their drCalls.me secure video call is sent to the email address on file and to join the call, the patient simply clicks on the button in the email at the scheduled time.
Alternatively, they can visit drCalls.me and enter the session code shown in their email in the box on the home screen. No additional software downloads or configuration is required, just a computer or laptop with webcam and speakers.
If your patient has subscribed to receiving notifications of their appointments by SMS text message, they will also receive a notice with an active link on their mobile device. This is a quick and easy way for patients to join the secure video call by simply tapping the link on their cell phone and connecting with you directly, using the camera and speaker on the phone itself.
