drCalls.me has a manual billing option where you can create additional billing entries to your billing reports. These may be for billable activities outside of the drCalls.me secure video or for activities that were not completely billed during your secure video session, for example, reviewing of medical charts, lab reports or preparing information and materials on behalf of a patient.
To access the manual billing, select the menu.
As with Call Case Notes, your default billing codes will be selected at the top of this screen. Changing the dropdown boxes will give access to other billing codes, including non-telehealth billing codes and descriptions.
You can select the date for the billing event, time and duration from the dropdowns provided.
You have an option to select an existing patient record from within drCalls.me, or alternatively to create a new patient record by clicking the button.
Finally, enter case notes for the billing entry and click the button.
